Makower is a Consulting Associate Professor of
Medicine at Stanford University Medical School
and Co-Director of Stanford's Biomedical Technology
Innovation Program.
The biomedical technology innovation program is
a unique course and project experience designed
to provide the knowledge and skills essential
for the early development of new biomedical technologies.
The program will enhance participant's abilities
to identify new opportunities for innovation,
to assess clinical needs and market potential
and to take the critical first steps in the invention,
patenting, early prototyping, and development
of new concepts.
