Smoking:
It is the policy of Stanford University that smoking in enclosed buildings and during University sponsored outdoor events on campus is prohibited. Please do not smoke in the courtyard, on the covered walkways or 20 feet from any doorway or air intake vent.


Prohibited areas:
Seminar Rooms, auditorium courtyard, balconies and walkways, offices, enclosed facilities
Covered walkways
University vehicles
University sponsored indoor or outdoor event


Permitted areas:
Near the emergency room at the end of hospital
20 feet from covered walkways, doorways or air intake vent
