Students register through their affiliated department; otherwise register for CHEMENG 459. Recommended: basic mathematics, biology, chemistry, and physics. 1 unit, Aut, Win, Spr Quarters (Robertson) Students who register for the one unit are required to attend a pre-seminar held on the Tuesday preceding the main Thursday afternoon seminar. The pre-seminar is intended to provide background and context for the Thursday seminar. With this pre-seminar, it is expected that students from diverse backgrounds will maximize their capture of the substance and content of the lectures. Attendance will be taken at each pre-seminar via a sign-in sheet.

Pre-seminars introduce basic concepts and background for non-experts. Registered students attend all pre-seminars; others welcome.
