Bill Bowes is the founding partner at U.S. Venture Partners. USVP has invested in more than 300 early stage companies from its 10 funds over 30 years. He was the founding shareholder at Amgen and was its first chairman and treasurer. Bill received a BA in economics from Stanford University in 1950 and holds an MBA from Harvard University. Bill was a member of the Interdisciplinary Biosciences Advisory Council. He is the President of the William K. Bowes, Jr. Foundation and he resides in San Francisco with his wife, Ute.
