Brain Connectivity Workshop 2018
Founded in 2002, the Brain Connectivity Workshop (BCW) is an annual international meeting for in-depth discussions of all aspects of brain connectivity research. The 17th edition of this workshop, taking place at Stanford University (June 25-27, 2018), begins with an educational day followed by two days devoted to presentations and discussions in four domains: anatomy, physiology and neuroimaging, computational models of brain connectivity, and clinical problems in relation to connectivity in both psychiatry and neurology.

Crossing Boundaries to Propel Tissue Engineering into the Clinic: Sponsored by Stanford Bio-X and the University of Sydney ADATE
The symposium is co-sponsored by the Bio-X Program at Stanford University and the Alliance for Design & Application in Tissue Engineering (ADATE) led by the University of Sydney. The program will feature multiple invited talks, a session of contributed short talks from students and postdocs, a thematic poster reception, and a biotechnology entrepreneurship panel.
The goal of the symposium is to expose and educate scientists spanning a wide variety of disciplines about the advances being made in the field of tissue engineering. The Symposium aims to attract students, postdocs, and faculty from many disciplines in Biology, Engineering, Medicine, and Chemistry from Stanford and our sister institutions in the Bay Area, including UCSF and UC-Berkeley as well as attendees from local biotech industry and our Australian guests.

Bio-X Symposium – Mechanobiology: Pushing and Pulling on Life - November 2014
JOIN US FOR A MECHANOBIOLOGY SYMPOSIUM!
This Symposium aims to educate students, postdoctoral fellows and established scientists from different disciplines about Mechanobiology by presenting talks on sensory systems, mechanically mediated cellular signaling, and the role of mechanics in homeostasis. A symposium in the Clark Auditorium of presentations by invited speakers from across the US will be followed by a reception in the Clark Center Courtyard. All are welcome.
