Dr. Baccus's lab studies how the circuitry of the retina translates the visual scene into electrical impulses in the optic nerve.

Dr. Jeffrey's research currently involves extracting and profiling circulating tumor cells (CTCs) from blood and bone marrow to shed light on the metastatic process and eventually to help guide selection of appropriate therapies in individual cancer patients.

Dr. Rockson is interested in the biology of lymphatic function in health and disease and has a specific interest in the lymphedema therapeutics and have created animal models to achieve high throughput screening.

The research in the Bent laboratory is focused on understanding and controlling surface and interfacial chemistry and applying this knowledge to a range of problems in semiconductor processing, micro- and nano-electronics, nanotechnology, and sustainable and renewable energy.
