Dr. Knowles is a physician-scientist who provides clinical care for children with epilepsy and leads a lab team conducting basic, translational and clinical research on pediatric epilepsy. She completed her M.D. and Ph.D. in Neurosciences at Stanford University, followed by residency training in Pediatrics and Child Neurology at Stanford, where she also served as Chief Resident. Bio-X Affiliated FacultyDr. Julia Noel completed her undergraduate work in Biochemistry/Cell Biology and Economics at the University of California in San Diego. She remained at UCSD for medical school, then relocated to Stanford University, where she completed her residency in Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery. She then pursued a fellowship in Endocrine Head & Neck Surgery at Stanford.
