Dear Bio-X Affiliated Faculty, postdocs, students, and lab members...

Increase your networking and visibility at Stanford, and beyond!  We will have donors and members of industry, among others, in attendance at this poster session.

We invite you to the Bio-X Interdisciplinary Initiatives Symposium on August 26th, 2015, 1:00pm-5:30pm at the Clark Center. A poster session will be held during a post symposium reception, in the Clark Center Courtyard.

**The top 3 posters presented will receive prizes in the form of award money for academic travel (to present research at an organized national scientific meeting or event)**

The Bio-X Interdisciplinary Initiatives Symposium poster session provides the opportunity for labs to present their research and offers an excellent venue for informal discussion with symposium attendees. Posters will be viewed by other students, postdocs, faculty, donors, and corporate representatives. We hope that you will take advantage of this opportunity to interact with colleagues from both academia and industry. Over 100 posters were presented at the last IIP symposium, and over 250 attendees, including many from the industry.

Please list in a First Name/Last Name format with your PI as the last contributor. Please add departmental information for all names in the author list.

Posters will be printed free of charge by the Bio-X Program, provided that they are sent to: chuber@stanford.edu by Wednesday, August 19th at 5:00pm.

* Please give at least 48 hours notice prior to the symposium if you are unable to present your poster (it causes a lot of embarrassment for us if presenters don't show up and the poster board is blank…). Please note, however, that for posters printed free-of-charge, if the presenter does not attend the IIP symposium poster session, their department will be charged for printing costs.

The poster session will be held in the Clark Center Courtyard. Posters will be viewed from 4:00pm to 5:30pm. Easels, corkboards, and pushpins will be provided. Posters must be set-up between 3:30 and 4:00pm. Please do not be late.

There is no established theme for the posters. Please present the work from your research. Registration for the symposium is not required.
