2026 Stanford Bio-X PhD Fellows.
June 8, 2026
Stanford Bio-X is delighted to announce the 2026 Bio-X PhD Fellows. This year’s cohort of 23 exemplary awardees from 15 different departments will collaborate with 64 faculty mentors, bridging disciplines to tackle groundbreaking, innovative research.
- 452 Total Fellows: Since 2004, the program has unlocked the potential of hundreds of interdisciplinary researchers.
- 3 Years of Full Support: Fellows receive full tuition and stipend funding, giving them the freedom to pursue impactful and exciting research questions.
- 347 Accomplished Alumni: Graduates are transforming the scientific landscape—leading industry giants, launching startups, and securing professorships at top-tier institutions. The program’s legacy is so strong that multiple Bio-X alumni have returned as Stanford faculty to mentor the next generation of fellows in their own labs.
We are honored to welcome these new fellows to the Bio-X community and look forward to supporting them as they expand their research careers. We thank our donors, including the Bowes Foundation, for their continued generous support of the program.
