Dr. Ariagno is Professor of Pediatrics, Emeritus at Stanford University School of Medicine in the Division of Neonatal and Developmental Medicine. He has been on the faculty at Stanford University since 1975. He received his medical degree from University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago and pediatric training at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Hospital in Chicago. His neonatology fellowship was at the University of California San Francisco and Children’s Hospital of San Francisco under Dr. June Brady (1973-75).
Professor Ronald Hanson has been an international leader in the development of laser-based diagnostic methods for combustion and propulsion, and in the development of modern shock tube methods for accurate determination of chemical reaction rate parameters needed for modeling combustion and propulsion systems. He and his students have made several pioneering contributions that have impacted the pace of propulsion research and development worldwide.
Dr. Rongxin Fang received his Ph.D. in Bioinformatics and Systems Biology at UC San Diego, where he was advised by Bing Ren (2015-2019). During this time, he developed high-throughput genomic technologies and computational tools to map the structure and activity of the mammalian genome at a large scale with single-cell resolution.
