Dr. Nguyen's research areas include epidemiology, clinical outcomes, and therapeutic clinical trials for chronic hepatitis B, chronic hepatitis C, liver cancer/tumors, other chronic liver diseases as cause of liver cancer such as nonalcoholic fatty liver disease and liver transplant-related issues.

Dr. Miles Berger is a neuroanesthesiologist and translational human neuroscientist. Clinically, Dr. Berger cares for patients undergoing brain and spine surgery, and has an interest in optimizing anesthesia care (and postoperative cognitive outcomes) for older surgical patients.
