Event: Society for Integrative and Comparative Biology Annual Meeting 2020 - Mike's abstract, “Poeciliopsis maternal follicle transcriptomes reveal importance of placenta and secretory genes in the emergence of live-birth,” was selected as 1 of 8 to compete in the Best Student Paper oral presentation for the Division of Evolutionary Developmental Biology. He presented on the first full day of the conference and was the 7th to present in the best student paper symposium.
