Bio-X Affiliated FacultyDr. Kao's research program has several active projects: Pulmonary Vascular Disease; Lung Inflammation and Regeneration; Lung surfactant rheology and cellular oxidative stress; and Novel Gene Regulators NF45 and NF90. -
Peter K. Kitanidis - Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering
Bio-X Affiliated FacultyDr. Kitanidis develops methods for the solution of interpolation and inverse problems utilizing observations and mathematical models of flow and transport. -
Peter K. Jackson - Professor of Microbiology & Immunology (Baxter Labs) and of Pathology
Bio-X Affiliated FacultyDr. Jackson’s lab uses proteomics and advanced imaging techniques to study fundamental mechanisms of cell biology. He has made a broad set of discoveries related to regulatory complexes and signaling in the cell cycle, cancer, signaling within the primary cilium and the link between cilia and human genetic diseases. -
Peter Greenberg - Professor of Medicine (Hematology), Emeritus
Bio-X Affiliated FacultyThe major direction of research in Dr. Greenberg's laboratory is to determine the role and mechanisms of hemopoietic dysregulation in human myeloid malignancies. -
Peter Dahlberg - Assistant Professor of Photon Science and of Structural Biology
Bio-X Affiliated FacultyDr. Peter Dahlberg received his undergraduate degree at McGill University in 2011 and his Ph.D. in biophysics from the University of Chicago in 2016. He then came to Stanford to work with W. E. Moerner and Wah Chiu to develop correlative light and electron microscopy methods. These methods give highly specific information on the machines that fill cells and make them work. In 2021 he was awarded SLAC’s Panofsky Fellowship to continue his work on correlative microscopy. In 2023 he transitioned to a Staff Scientist role at SLAC.
