Dr. Pegram’s current research efforts include a continued focus on the cancer-associated gene that encodes HER2 and developing new ways to target cancer cells expressing this protein.

The Mercola laboratory is focused on developing new therapies for cardiovascular disease: their research combines in vitro disease models using cardiovascular cells generated from induced pluripotent stem cells with high throughput screening to define disease mechanisms, identify drug targets and develop drug leads.

Dr. Mark Kasevich's research interests include:

• Development of quantum-optimal imaging protocols and instruments, including high speed fluorescence lifetime microscopy;
• Multipass electron microscopy, and multipass Raman microscopy;
• Quantum sensing and networks, including development of networked entangled state atomic clocks and interferometers.

Dr. Holodniy's research program is currently focused in three areas: translational research, HIV/HCV clinical trials, and health services research focusing on cost effectiveness of HIV antibody and ARV resistance testing and ARV utilization and clinical outcome.
