Dr. David Spiegel is Willson Professor and Associate Chair of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences, Director of the Center on Stress and Health, and Medical Director of the Center for Integrative Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine, where he has been a member of the academic faculty since 1975, and was Chair of the Stanford University Faculty Senate from 2010-2011. Dr. Hong is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Center for Interdisciplinary Brain Science Research at the Stanford University Medical Center, with a clinical focus on child and adolescent psychiatry.

Dr. Relman's primary research focus is the human indigenous microbiota, and in particular, the nature and mechanisms of variation in patterns of microbial diversity within the human body as a function of time, space, and in response to perturbation, e.g., antibiotics.
