Dr. Krishna Shenoy, the Hong Seh and Vivian W. M. Lim Professor in the School of Engineering and a Professor (by courtesy) of Neurobiology and of Bioengineering, and a long time member of and friend to Stanford Bio-X, will be remembered for his passion for innovative science, supporting students and colleagues, and his immense impact on the Stanford community.

Dr. Shenoy was the Director of the Neural Prosthetic Systems Laboratory and the co-director of the Neural Prosthetics Translational Lab. His groundbreaking advances in the field of brain-computer interfaces will continue to improve the lives of patients for years to come.

Dr. Shenoy was a Howard Hughes Medical Institute investigator, a member of the National Academy of Medicine, and a Fellow of the IEEE, among countless other honors.
