This interactive workshop hosted by Aaron Lum, Ph.D., and Austin Blanco from Technical Instruments, covered the practical applications of image processing and analysis methods. Specifically, they covered filtering of images to “clean up” signal, thresholding of image components for quantitation of size, shape, and intensity parameters. Participants were asked to bring their laptops so that they could follow along with the exercises during the event, and lunch was provided.
