This talk, led by Plamena Entcheva-Dimitrov, Ph.D., from Abbott Vascular, was intended to present alternative career paths for PhD students, postdocs and MDs. Alternatives to the academic career and what skills are required to be successful in these new fields were discussed along with tips on how to get exposure to the industry. More specifically, the talk focused on Regulatory Affairs as a career path for PhDs and MDs. The discussion was followed by a Q&A that began at 4:30 pm. Refreshments were provided.
