Victor Froelicher - Professor of Medicine (Cardiovascular), Emeritus

Dr. Froelicher's current research is in the screening of athletes for sudden cardiac death, computerized ECG and clinical data management; exercise physiology including expired gas analysis; the effect of chronic and acute exercise on the heart; digitalrecording of biological signals; prognostic and diagnostic use of exercise testing; and development of Expert Medical System software and educational tools.

Dr. Frank explores the molecular structure of high polymers and small amphiphilic molecules capable of self-organization through photostationary and transient fluorescence, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, surface plasmon spectroscopy, and optical and atomic force microscopy.
