Dr. Sergiu Pasca's lab employs state-of-the-art stem cell biology, genome engineering, imaging and neuroscience approaches to identify the dynamical processes that go awry in neural cells derived from patients with neuropsychiatric disorders, such as autism or schizophrenia, and what should be therapeutically targeted in these conditions.

Dr. Lansberg's research has focused on defining the utility of modern imaging techniques for the evaluation of acute stroke.

Dr. Kao's research program has several active projects: Pulmonary Vascular Disease; Lung Inflammation and Regeneration; Lung surfactant rheology and cellular oxidative stress; and Novel Gene Regulators NF45 and NF90.

Dr. Daniel's current research interests are MRI of Breast Cancer, particularly new techniques; MRI-guided interventions, especially MRI-compatible remote manipulation and haptics; and Medical Mixed Reality.

Dr. Jeffrey's current research and scholarly interests include pancreatic MDCT, thyroid ultrasound/biopsy, virtual colonoscopy, imaging of appendicitis, and hepatic MDCT.

Dr. Longo's research group is focused on the discovery of cellular signaling mechanisms that serve as a basis for the development of novel therapeutic approaches for Alzheimer's disease, Huntington's disease and other neurological disorders.

Dr. Palumbi's research interests are widespread, and he has published on the genetics and evolution of sea urchins, whales, cone snails, corals, sharks, spiders, shrimps, bryozoans, and butterflyfishes.

Dr. James Zehnder is the director of the coagulation laboratory, co-director of the molecular diagnosis laboratories, medical director of the anticoagulation clinic, attending physician in the thrombosis and bleeding disorders clinic, and associate director of the transfusion service.

Dr. Giaccia's research program is focused on translating basic science findings on the role of hypoxia in tumor progression and resistance to therapy to pre-clinical models of cancer that they ultimately hope to take into the clinic.

Dr. Dorigo is the Director of Stanford Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Division of Gynecologic Oncology and the Director of the Stanford Gynecologic Oncology Clinical Care Program.
