Dr. Martin Breidenbach's research interests include e+e- colliding beam physics: R&D for a new detector for NLC, with a particular interest in complete detector optimization and Si-W electromagnetic calorimeters. Additionally, he is interested in some particular areas of the actual collider, such as polarized e- guns, e+ targets, and instrumentation strategy and neutrinoless double beta decay: R&D for an experiment with Xe136 with the goal of measuring the effective mass of the neutrino.
