Bio-X Affiliated FacultyDr. Qi's lab is currently applying genome engineering and CRISPR technologies for the interrogation of genetic interaction networks related to cell differentiation, proliferation, epigenetic regulation and diseases. -
Leanne Williams - Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences
Bio-X Affiliated FacultyDr. Williams is the founding Director of the PanLab for Precision Psychiatry and Translational Neuroscience and has developed a radical new way to understand and treat mental disorders, anchored in a neuroscience-informed model for precision mental health. -
Le Cong - Assistant Professor of Pathology (Pathology Research) and of Genetics
Bio-X Affiliated FacultyThe Cong lab develops novel technologies at the intersection of genome engineering, single-cell analysis, and computational genomics. They focus on immune-related disease to employ these tools for understanding cancer immunology, neuro-immunology, and mechanistic insights that may lead to transformative diagnostics or therapeutics with tailored genetic/epigenetic approaches. -
Lay Teng Ang - Assistant Professor of Urology
Bio-X Affiliated FacultyDr. Lay Teng Ang earned her Ph.D. jointly from the University of Cambridge and A*STAR and was subsequently appointed as a Research Fellow and, later, a Senior Research Fellow at the Genome Institute of Singapore. She then moved her laboratory to Stanford University as a Siebel Investigator and Instructor at the Stanford Institute for Stem Cell Biology & Regenerative Medicine. The Ang laboratory has been supported by the Siebel Investigatorship, California Institute for Regenerative Medicine, and other sources.
