    Dr. Felix Horns's Lab creates and uses new technologies to understand and manipulate cells. They aim to discover the fundamental principles governing how cells and tissues operate, and to harness these insights to improve human health. Their work unites molecular engineering, synthetic biology, and genomics to answer questions and solve problems in immunology, neuroscience, cancer, and aging.

    Dr. Feliks Kogan's research is focused on the development and clinical translation of novel quantitative and molecularly specific imaging technologies geared toward detection of disease at the earliest causative stages. Specifically, he is motivated to study the causes and treatment of osteoarthritis (OA) and other musculoskeletal disorders, which have a large physical and financial impact but remain poorly understood.     Dr. Fatima Rodriguez, MD, MPH is an Assistant Professor in Cardiovascular Medicine and (by courtesy) the Stanford Prevention Research Center. She received her MD and MPH from Harvard University and completed residency in internal medicine at the Brigham and Women's Hospital. Dr. Rodriguez arrived at Stanford University in 2014, where she completed a cardiovascular medicine fellowship and served as Chief Fellow. She specializes in the primary and secondary prevention of cardiovascular disease, lipid disorders, and cardiovascular risk assessment in high-risk populations.
