Frontiers in Interdisciplinary Biosciences Pre-Seminar

DAVID PRINCE, DEPARTMENT OF NEUROLOGY & NEUROLOGICAL SCIENCES

Attend Dr. Prince's pre-seminar presentation, "To prune or not to prune?", to learn more about Dr. Beth Stevens's seminar, "How Microglia Prune Synapses in Health & Disease", to be held Thursday, October 6th.

The symposium is co-sponsored by the Bio-X Program at Stanford University and the Alliance for Design & Application in Tissue Engineering (ADATE) led by the University of Sydney. The program will feature multiple invited talks, a session of contributed short talks from students and postdocs, a thematic poster reception, and a biotechnology entrepreneurship panel.

The goal of the symposium is to expose and educate scientists spanning a wide variety of disciplines about the advances being made in the field of tissue engineering. The Symposium aims to attract students, postdocs, and faculty from many disciplines in Biology, Engineering, Medicine, and Chemistry from Stanford and our sister institutions in the Bay Area, including UCSF and UC-Berkeley as well as attendees from local biotech industry and our Australian guests.
