The Petrov lab does theoretical, computational and experimental work to address questions in molecular evolution and molecular population genetics. They are interested in a wide range of questions in molecular evolution and molecular population genetics. Their primary focus at the moment is on (i) population genetics and molecular mechanisms of adaptation and (ii) genome evolution.
