Research Title: Tissue biomechanic affect T cells response

Research Description: Adi will study how the mechanical stiffness of inflamed tissues can control the activation and function of T cells. She will use materials engineering skills to fabricate artificial bio-matrices and advanced microscopy to study immune cells in inflamed tissue. The goal is to better understand how chronic and acute inflammation can impact immune health at the molecular level.

WHERE IS SHE NOW?

Adi is doing project management and business strategy at Applied Materials. Previously, she was a lecturer of materials science and engineering at Stanford.
