Dr. Rogers's group uses genetics and genomics methodologies to identify novel ARDS pathobiology; they hope that this will enable identification of novel biomarkers, phenotypes, and treatments for the disease. They are building a plasma biobank of critically ill patients at Stanford, with a particular focus on metabolic changes in critical illness.
