“Perception versus Reality: Understanding the Relationship between Balance Confidence Metrics and Quantitative Biomechanics Metrics of Balance Performance"

Optimal metrics for assessing balance are poorly understood. Ariana aims to determine these and assemble them into a balance performance test that assesses patients using their video footage as opposed to data from expensive biomechanics laboratory tests. This will be an easy-to-administer, rigorous assessment and the first of its kind for much-needed clinical use.
