Dr. Sze's current research interests include:

• Transarterial administration of chemotherapeutics, radioactive microspheres, and biologics for the treatment of unresectable tumors;
• Stent and Stent-graft treatment of peripheral vascular diseases, aneurysms, aortic dissections;
• Management of portal hypertension (TIPS);
• Percutaneous treatment of complications of organ transplantation;
• Venous reconstruction;
• Magnetic resonance imaging-guided interventions.

Dr. Sze's group offers the entire range of vascular and nonvascular image-guided procedures. They are experts in the endovascular treatment of arterial disease from angioplasty and stenting of occluded blood vessels to endograft repair of aneurysms. For venous diseases, they offer state-of-the-art therapy for DVT, varicose veins, and chronic venous occlusion. In the realm of oncology, they specialize in image-guided tumor treatments including chemoembolization, radiofrequency ablation,cryoablation, NanoKnife ablation, and radioembolization. In women's health, they offer a variety of services to alleviate pelvic pain including uterine artery embolization for the treatment of symptomatic fibroids and gonadal vein embolization for pelvic congestion syndrome.
