Grace is a rising senior from Chandler, Arizona. She is currently conducting research in Dr. Renee Reijo Pera's lab in the Institute of Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine. In Dr. Reijo Pera's lab, Grace is working with mouse and human embryos to investigate the epigenetic modifications that occur during embryo-genesis. Through a better understanding of the role of epigenetics in embryo development, she hopes to be able to apply this knowledge to the generation of induced pluripotent stem cells. Upon receiving her bachelor's degree in biology, Grace plans on attending graduate school to further study stem cells.
