Headshot portrait of Guillem Pratx - Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology (Radiation Physics)
Bio-X Affiliated Faculty

Dr. Pratx's laboratory's goal is to develop the next generation of tools for improving cancer research and cancer care. They create entirely new technologies that address significant needs in the lab or the clinic. The methods they have developed so far can interrogate the behavior of single cancer cells, visualize signatures of disease in vivo, and verify the delivery radiation treatments. They employ a variety of physical and engineering approaches to achieve our goal, including advanced optics, sensing, computing, and microfabrication. They work closely with the Molecular Imaging Program at Stanford and the Bio-X Program.
