Research Title: Flexible surgical robotics

Research Description: Jake is designing control algorithms for autonomous surgical robots. The project aims to combine information from clinically available sensors to control the motion of flexible surgical devices in real time. Without human intervention, the surgical robot must adapt to uncertain and dynamic anatomies. This work focuses on cardiothoracic procedures.

WHERE IS HE NOW?

Jake is co-founder and CTO of Remedy Robotics, a surgical robotics startup.
