Sadia J. Dimbil is a rising senior majoring in biology with a concentration in neuroscience. She is currently conducting research on the phenotype of EWS knockdown and on the mechanism by which the protein EWS regulates RNA processing. The objective of this research is to gain insight into how the expression of the EWS/FLI-1 fusion protein promotes tumorigenesis. In general, Sadia is interested in cancer biology in addition to human physiology. She plans to pursue medical school after graduation.
