“Democratizing Pediatric Precision Health: Open-Source Wearable ECG Technology for Early Arrhythmia Detection"

Sean’s project leverages wearable devices and smartphone sensors to monitor pediatric ECG data for early arrhythmia detection. By capturing this data through the Apple Watch and storing it in an on-device database (HealthKit), the project enables real-time visualization and analysis using an AI-driven ECG Data Manager. Creating scalable diagnostic tools for pediatric patients is challenging due to the need for adaptable solutions. To address this, Sean will contribute to the opensource ecosystem by developing software and creating interoperable frameworks that accelerate innovation in pediatric precision health as well as improve access to early diagnostic tools.
