Sean Wang is a rising sophomore from South Pasadena, California planning to major in biology. Under the guidance of Dr. Robert Chang at the Byers Eye Institute, Sean is currently researching clinical applications of an online computer program, Peristat, as a scalable and cost-effective form of automated glaucoma screening. Among many hobbies, he is interested in ophthalmology, social entrepreneurship, telemedicine, and gerontology. After graduation, he intends to pursue medical school and eventually become an eye surgeon.
