Tony Tzeng is a rising senior from Lafayette, Louisiana. He is majoring in biology and minoring in history. In Dr. Stefan Heller’s lab, he is currently researching live cell staining with phalloidin, a well-known biomarker for auditory hair cells. Last summer, he also conducted research concerning auditory hair cell regeneration, characterizing the Sox2-CreER system in transgenic mice as a tool for studying inner ear support cells. Outside of lab, he enjoys table tennis, frisbee, and reading.
