Home Department: Biomedical Computation
Supported by: Pitch Johnson
Mentor: Hanlee Ji, Assistant Professor of Medicine (Oncology)

Anna is a rising senior from Washington DC. She is majoring in biomedical computation with a focus in organs and organ systems. This summer, Anna is working to implement an algorithm that uses next generation sequencing to find rare mutations in H1N1 and gastric cancer tumors. She is interested in the use of new technologies and computational methods to solve clinical issues, and she plans to apply to medical school after graduating.
