“Cardiovascular Computational Models"
Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is the leading global cause of death, yet current wearable devices lack comprehensive, reliable data for early detection and prevention. Nathalie has previously contributed by designing and testing a wearable ultrasound circuit for measuring arteries. This project, developed alongside her mentor, aims to create a non-invasive wearable sensor to measure blood pressure continuously, addressing disparities in cardiovascular care. With this project, Nathalie hopes to build on this foundation to develop computational models to simulate arterial blood flow and infer blood pressure. This research integrates hardware and computational advances, offering transformative potential for personalized, accessible cardiovascular monitoring.
