Professor Sindy KY Tang is the Kenneth and Barbara Oshman Faculty Scholar and Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering and by courtesy of Bioengineering and Radiology (Precision Health and Integrated Diagnostics) at Stanford University. She received her Ph.D. from Harvard University in Engineering Sciences under the supervision of Prof. George Whitesides. The micro-nano-bio lab under the direction of Prof.

Dr. Pietzsch's research interests are in probabilistic systems analysis and innovation management.

Dr. Tang's research focuses on finding new ways to treat and prevent non-melanoma skin cancer.

Dr. Pinsky works in the theory and practice of computational mechanics with a particular interest in multiphysics problems in biomechanics.

Research in Dr. Tang's laboratory develops and applies statistical methods for analyzing patterns of human genetic variation, which underlie the phenotypic diversity of our species.

Dr. Pfefferbaum's current research is in abnormalities in brain structure and function in healthy aging, alcoholism, HIV infection, and Alzheimer's Disease; diffusion tensor imaging of white matter microstructure in alcoholism; spectroscopic analysis of brain brain metabolite concentrations in alcoholism and HIV infection; functional neuroimaging of cognitive networks in alcoholism.

Dr. Talbot's lab's research focuses on the development of myelinated axons in the vertebrate nervous system.

Dr. Pfeffer's laboratory is studying how human cells put receptors in the right place.

Dr. Peltz's laboratory develops and uses state of the art genomic methods to identify genetic factors affecting disease susceptibility, and to translate these findings into new treatments.

Dr. Ta's clinical studies include dry-eyes in graft-versus-host disease, efficacy study of Zymar and Vigamox, intravitreous injections.
