Dr. Williams is the founding Director of the PanLab for Precision Psychiatry and Translational Neuroscience and has developed a radical new way to understand and treat mental disorders, anchored in a neuroscience-informed model for precision mental health.

The Dassama laboratory at Stanford performs research directed at understanding and mitigating bacterial multidrug resistance (MDR). Efforts to combat MDR involve two broad strategies: understanding how resistance is acquired in hopes of mitigating it, and identifying new compounds that could serve as potent antibiotics.

Dr. Chiu's laboratory aims to understand the mechanisms of pediatric solid tumors, precisely target the specific causes, and devise unique medical or surgical treatments for every child.

Dr. Guosong Hong's research aims to bridge materials science and neuroscience, and blur the distinction between the living and non-living worlds by developing novel neuroengineering tools to interrogate and manipulate the brain. Specifically, the Hong lab is currently developing ultrasound, infrared, and radiofrequency-based in-vivo neural interfaces with minimal invasiveness, high spatiotemporal resolution, and cell-type specificity.

Dr. Aghaeepour's lab develops machine learning/artificial intelligence methods to study the immune system in clinical settings.

The Angelo lab uses custom built high dimensional imaging technologies and computational approaches to understand the interplay between single cell phenotype and tissue histology in health and disease.
